I have an advanced copy of the new Chris Tomlin album See the Morning. In a word…WOW! This album is unreal. Musically, a few tracks rock a little harder than some of his previous work. But the lyrics make this CD a terrific spin. My early fave: Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone). I’ll post a full review of the whole album later after I absorb it a bit more. You can pick up a copy here. Do so. Now.

Preach the Gospel, die, and be forgotten.
noticed his tour dates says he was in Hsv yesterday. were you there? I saw him here in LR almost a year ago, and it was very good (with Matt Redman and Louie Giglio). I look forward to getting the disc. I’m heading to see David Crowder Band (with Third Day) here next week. I’m not as big on Third Day (all of their stuff seems to sound the same these days), but I’ve never seen them live so I’m still looking forward to it. Much more so, however, am I looking forward to Crowder. Never seen them either, and I expect it’ll be the highlight.
Dude, you’ll love Crowder. We saw the Third Day / Crowder show back in March. Awesome. I especially enjoyed the acoustic set the two bands performed together.I didn’t get to hear Tomlin last night, but some of my good friends went. They said it was amazing. Best of all, Tomlin spent some time unpacking the album title. It refers to the miraculous activity of God in scripture. It’s truly amazing to realize how much of his activity occured in the morning. Hard to do it justice here, but it was powerful.
