I saw the “dude (look like a lady)” story this morning. On PTI – Wilbon: Tony, are you surprised? Kornheiser: Not as surprised as her husband.I’m disappointed Isaiah Thomas wasn’t among those fined/suspended. I think he was behind the hard foul.
You know Isaiah sent that guy in to throw some elbows. I forget his name, but Dan Patrick pointed out the fact that he’s pretty much the end-game flagrant fouler for Zeke. Think George Karl wasn’t trying to run up the score a little bit in honor of his ol’ buddy, Larry Brown? Yeah, I heard Kornheiser’s comment. Priceless.
I’ve never liked Karl either. Doesn’t help that he’s a Carolina guy (me being a Duke fan and all).
You know those Carolina guys. It’s a fraternity, man.
You can take the player out of the Ghetto but you can’t take the Ghetto out of the player. The whole NBA is a disgrace to the game. Teams from today shouldn’t even be metioned in the same book as the Celtics, Pistons, Lakers, Rockets, 76er’s. No class what-so-ever. Melo should get another 15 games just for running away like a little girl.
Jon, I thought the same thing. What kind of punk move was that to sucker punch a guy and then back pedal your way all the way across the court? Man up and fight if you’re gonna throw the first punch. To me, the T.O. thing is even worse. Spitting in someone’s face is just about the most dehumanizing thing you can do. It’s absolutely terrible. Talk about no class.
