Nothing sums up our feelings and thoughts re: Bybee Baby #3 better than Psalm 127. As I think back over all we’ve been through these past few months with this baby, a profound sense of gratitude washes over me. God has been gracious to us at every step of the way and our prayer is that this little boy would grow into a man whose life would be reflective of the grace he’s received. I’m really thankful there’s going to be another little Bybee boy to pass on the family name. A heritage indeed…

Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him.

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are sons born in one’s youth.

Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
