Guess who just made a free agent signing?
Now our projected rotation is Adam Wainwright, Braden Looper, Kyle Lohse, Anthony Reyes and Brad Thompson. Ugh.
At least we’ll have room for Piniero, Carpenter, and Mulder if /when they make it back from the DL.
You know, this would be so hilarious if a team this bad could still finish ahead of the Cubs. We’ll see.

Congrats. But I just don’t like one year contracts, for some reason. But regardless, pretty good change for one year of work. I’d take it.
With the depleted state of our rotation, we were just lucky a league-average starter was still available for such little money. Not that it’ll make that much difference this year. But somebody’s gotta make some starts for us. Might as well be Lohse.
