Well, once again it’s time for that most ancient of March traditions. No, I’m not talking about sprinkling preemergent herbicide on your yard with that little mini-wheelbarrow thingy. It’s bracket time, baby and I’m stoked because that means it’s time for the 2nd annual Already & Not Yet NCAA Tournament Pick ‘Em Invitational. Who’s invited, you ask? Why, you are, intrepid reader.
If you want in, it’s simple. Just go here, sign up for a free ID if you’re not already registered, and you should be good to go. You’ll be joining a private league (Already & Not Yet Hoop Pick’Em). The group ID# is 76937 and the password is bigtime. Like I said, it’s free and it’s fun. Hopefully last year’s champ, Matt Wimberley, will be on hand for a title defense. My goal is to finish higher than sixth this year. Probably won’t happen unless only 4 of you sign up….
Actually, my goal is to beat Jeff Keller. In both bracketology and fantasy baseball.
Thanks for the invite. It seems like we just did this. I plan on taking you all down. No, I’m just kidding. I don’t know anything (except for Tennessee, of course). And, I’m one of those “emotional” pickers! Let the games begin!
Nobody knows anything on these brackets. It’s all just guesswork. But the battle for bragging rights in the Bybee household is gonna be fierce!
I think you meant beating Jeff Fincher in fantasy baseball. Your team through the first 10 picks looks as bad as 08 Cardinals. You need to be taking notes from me as far as how to draft a team! As far as the B-Ball bracket I’m sure your scouting report and analysis on teams will be as good as Dennis Hopper’s character in Hoosiers.Jeff K
YYYYEEEEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!! roll tide baby!!! national championship- looks like the TIDE is rising!!!! we are gonna KILL tennessee!!!………wait, what? we didn’t make the tourney?- but we got to the SECOND round of the SEC…..oh, well- NIT here we come!!! “Crimson Tide: 2008 NIT champions!”- that’s like getting second place to the national title!!…..WHAT!!!! we didn’t even make the NIT????i quit college basketball.
How many people still watch college basketball? I honestly did not watch one game this whole season. However, I did still fill out a bracket. When is your fantasy baseball league starting man?
Keller,Frankly, I’m not worried about either Jeff. The Chargers are going to have about as much longevity as Pauly Shore’s career. You’re going down, baby. Trey, I’m the biggest frontrunner basketball fan in the world. This is the first year I’ve watched more than 2 or 3 games prior to March Madness. It’s not an accident that this also happens to be the one year Tennessee is decent. Lane, My Cool Papa Bell League starts up in two weeks. We should get a blog league going.
Bybee,That’s Mr.Keller to you.Jeff K
And you can call me “Mr. Champ”.
Ok, I’m finally on the board. I went with the homer pick because this may be the only year in my lifetime that I can pick Tennessee to go to the final four with any shred of credibility.
