Sometime in the next few days, I’m going to follow my wife’s lead and I’ll be moving to a new blogspot address. When we both started our blogs, we selected blogspot addresses that contained our full names; probably not the smartest idea. Since the little lady was able to successfully (and rather painlessly) move her site to a new address, I’ve decided to do the same thing.
Once I decide on a new blog address, I’ll send out an email to all my friends and known readers. If you’re a follower of this blog and you’d like to be included in the email, leave me a comment and I’ll be sure to keep you informed about “where” I’ll be moving to. Otherwise, this web address will be non-existent in a couple of days. That is, until another Jason Bybee out there decides to take up the craft of blogging.
Au revoir.
count me in!
So, I do have good ideas. π I feel so much better having mine in a new spot and will feel even better when you make the switch. It is really so easy. I was afraid that I would be stuck with my old spot forever.
Can you explain to me why exactly you guys have moved your sites? Is this something I should do?
don’t forget us.
Lane, I have been wanting to move mine for a long time now, but was afraid that I would lose everything and have to start again. It was really easy to switch the web address. I wanted to do this because my old web address had my first and last name in the address. I never really liked the idea that all of that was out there.
I read your blog, and especially enjoy your LOST recaps!
Lane,It’s pretty much what Sunny said. We just want to remove our names from our blogs. You’ll probably want to change your blogspot address too, now that you’re getting out of youth ministry!
Elizabeth,I didn’t know you were a LOST fan! That’s awesome!
Include me in an update – thanks in advance!
by the way, how do I find Sunny’s new blog site?
Fran,You can get to Sunny’s new page by clicking on the link entitled “Time Out” in my community column on the left. Sunny didn’t have your email address, so she’s emailed Lucy to get it. Hope that helps. I had a good visit with Dylan over the weekend, by the way. I’m really proud of him.
Thanks for the link to Sunny! I talked to Dylan tonight and he was really glad of the chance to talk to you. You have been a tremendous influence on him. I’m proud of him, too!
Lemme know, broski…
