Other than the Lord, there has been one constant in my life: my sister. I’ve literally never known a day when she wasn’t a part of my life. And I can’t say that about anybody else.

Tara is conscientious and kind. She shows up for things. She approaches the world with a sense of wonder — it’s one of the reasons she loves to travel. She also loves to laugh — which makes her great company when you’re telling a story. She makes a place for those who don’t have anywhere else to go and nowhere else to turn. She is all of these things and a million more.

Best of all, she’s my sister.
