This year, in preparation for Easter Sunday, I’m reading Walter Wangerin Jr.’s Reliving the Passion. I’ve long been a fan of Wangerin’s writing and Passion is another classic. Wangerin retells the story of Christ’s suffering, death and resurrection as recorded in Mark’s Gospel. It is a powerful meditation on the greatest of all stories. You should pick up a copy and read through it before Easter.

I’m going to take a break from blogging this week. Nothing big, just taking a little break. I’ll be holding the fort down here the first part of the week and on Thursday, Sunny and I will be going to Baja as a part of a mission effort. We’re looking forward to spending some time together on the mission field. Sunny will be teaching some of the ladies classes; I’ll be teaching some of the teen classes. Please pray for us this week.

If Kansas never won it all with Roy Williams there, then their chances are certainly no better now. Like you, I didn’t see them falling to Bradley though. Last championship they had I believe was ’88 with that old travelin’ Tar Heel, Larry Brown.Glad to hear you and Abbey Kate have reconciled. She appears to me to be the picture of sweetness and good manners. You sure you just didn’t imagine that restaurant episode?
