Nikolaus Zinzendorf:
Preach the Gospel, die, and be forgotten.

Glad for you AF went for 2. I am an AF fan (lived in Co. Springs for a little) and was proud they played so well. Although I called a tighter game than most…
Apparently Gameday is also losing your best defender for the season for the second year in a row.
Whew, a close one indeed. What separates Air Force from a SEC team…intelligence. Go for the tie, not the win. Especially when you’re on a roll.Hope you play good next week.Hey, you coming over tonight? Just let me know. I’m running the computer stuff this week, but you can still come on over.
I guess you saw that we also lost Inky for the year. I’m concerned about his career – blood vessel and nerve damage doesn’t sound too good.Lane, I agree and disagree. Intelligence separates Air Force and SEC teams, but I would say that Air Force is the team with the intelligence. Those players were smart enough to get into the Academy, and went toe to toe with an SEC giant while having far less physical talent. They ran their system to perfection and almost came out with a W.I would have gone for 2 if I were their coach. The longer the game lasts, the more it favors the more talented team and home team. I would have taken my chances on one play from the 3 rather than a 1st & 10 from the 25 and having to stop UT, which they had only done once with an interception. The Vols were very fortunate.
Agree AF had to be the more intelligent team, they were obviously not the physically superior team. Just couldn’t get it in the last play.
by the way, anything I said a couple of weeks ago about what Arkansas may or may not do this year, who they might beat, etc. Please ignore it…
Lane, sorry I didn’t make it over last night. Had three grad school assignments to finish up.
Greg,I’m still picking your Hogs over Bama next week.
No way Arkansas beats Bama. No way.
Arkansas is tough and they get the Tide at home. We’ll see…
I’d go with hogs over tide. It could be worse, you could be a Vandy fan
It could be worse. Your team could lose to Vandy.
And from what I’ve seen so far, that may very well happen this weekend to Arkansas fans…
I doubt it, Greg.
