Lost Season Three

So LOST returns Wednesday for Season Three. I’m uber-pumped. Ever since I burned through Season One on DVD, I’ve been hooked. The producers promise more adventure and romance this season, less mythology. Although I love the mythology, I’ll be excited to see a little more action on the island in real time. Here are a few of the questions I have heading in to Season Three:

– Who are the Others and what do they want with Jack, Kate & Sawyer?

– Season Two is full of references to individuals who are either “good” or “bad”. Will this theme be fleshed out a little more? Are the Others really the “good guys” as Henry Gale says in the finale?

– Why did the Others tell Michael they couldn’t go get the people on the list? What prohibited them from doing so?

– Who will Kate choose: Jack or Sawyer? (Personally, I think there’s no way she doesn’t pick Sawyer.)

– How is Sayid going to save Jack, Kate & Sawyer?

– What will happen back at camp when Hurley returns with the news of the kidnapping?

– Now that the hatch is no more, what happens to the electromagnetic charge that’s being built up? Should we expect more visitors being brought to the island as a result of Season Two’s system failure?

– Will Walt & Michael really make it off the island? If so, Michael is set up to be a major redemptive character in the resolution of the story line.

– Who is Henry Gale? Is he the “man in charge”?

– What happened to my boy Locke? Did he survive the hatch explosion? What about Eko and Desmond?

– Who is the father of Sun’s baby? (The execs say we won’t find that one out until the series finale.)

– Anyone wanna explain the polar bear from Season One?

– While we’re talking about unresolved mysteries from Season One, what about the monster / black smoke thingy?

– Will we finally found out why Locke was in a wheelchair in the first place?

Man, I love this show! If you have LOST fever like me click here and check out the Season Three previews.

I was going to post about it later but maybe I’ll just link to yours :)Very excited for 3 to start. I’ve been watching it since day one and haven’t missed an episode yet. My only frustration will be the same as seasons 1 & 2 – the questions aren’t answered fast enough, and when they are, there are even more left unanswered. At least there will be more consecutive episodes this year with fewer breaks. I’ve been watching ‘Studio 60’, which I’m liking and will continue to watch. Also ‘Jericho’ which is okay, but I don’t know if I’ll stick with it or not. I’m also planning to watch some of “The Nine” and see if it’s worth staying with, too.But nothing will beat Lost. Only 11 more hours…

I’ve seen the pilot to “The Nine” It’s definitely worth watching.I, too, am glad that the episodes will be continuous. That was my biggest complaint of the previous two years.

Greg,I’m with you dude. It’s the best show on TV, hands down. The new format (more consecutive eps) this season will only enhance the viewing. Scott,I’m planning on watching “The Nine”, too. It looks solid. How do you always see these shows before they air?

A lot of pilots were made available this year as the networks acknowledged the power of the internet to build and substain buzz for a show. All of the ones I saw were made available on Bittorrent to download–I did and burned em.

AHHHHH! I can’t wait for tonight…we’re throwing a LOST viewing at our house. I know it’s going to be annoying with all the newbies wanting ask unending questions, but it’ll be a great experience for those who have never seen the show. Just consider it our little way of spreading the gospel of LOST!

There’s no way I could watch LOST with a group of people. Too much to process, too much to take in. But if you can convince a few people to start watching, then that’s good. I hope my friend Lane doesn’t read my blog today. He has my Season One…trying to convert another.

My family taped it because of the powder puff game and just finished watching it. Jamie was excited to see it before she leaves tomorrow. They are addicted. Thanks for letting them watch season 1. Sorry they had it for so long.

No problem. Just finished watching it myself. Wow. We found out a lot more than I thought we would in the premeire.
