Preach the Gospel, die, and be forgotten.
We were all gathered around the tube last night watching the last few innings. It was the first time we had sat down and watched something together in eons.Number Three has turned traitor (he’s still smarting that his Yankees lost) and is pulling for the Mets. There was much trash talk being flung about the room, Eyegal probably being the chief offender. What fun!May there be even more fun tonight. I don’t remember that ’68 Series, but I understand it was a good one.
Mets are done for. If the Cards can work their bullpen like redheaded step children like they did in games 2 & 3 then it won’t be a contest.
Yeah.. this comment has absolutely nothing to do with the Cardinals. Sorry. 🙂 I was just wondering if you had recovered from your illness. Are you feeling better?
Cards vs Tigers…Uh-oh you must ignore Jon for awhile.
Mike,Glad to hear you guys had some quality family time watching the Cards win. Maybe Eyegal and I can double team Number Three with the smack talk. Go Cards!Jenna,I’m feeling better. I had another little spell yesterday. The meds the doc gave me last week caused some pretty bad headaches and nausea. But I’m back at it today, feeling better than ever. Away with you, pleurisy!Jon,I know your Tigers are probably gonna roll over either the Mets or Cards, but it’s probably best if we don’t see each other for a couple days if the Cardinals do end up making it.
Glad you have prevailed over pleurisy!! 🙂
