Sorry I haven’t posted much this week. Haven’t really had the time. Full-time ministry plus 6 hours of grad class have occupied most of my time this week. I’ve actually had a couple things on my mind that I wanted to write about this week, but I’ll have to save them for later.
But it occurred to me the other night how awesome my wife is. We’re watching TV, I flip over to SportsCenter to catch up on some highlights. Sunny’s back is to the TV. But she hears the sportscaster’s voice and goes, “Hey, isn’t that Scott Van Pelt?” She was right. It was at that moment that I realized, “I have an awesome wife.”

I think that everytime a player does something and Jamey knows the name and team he is playing for.
It’s awesome, isn’t it? One summer, a friend of ours stayed with us in our home in Kingsport. He came in one evening and I wasn’t there. He was shocked to find Sunny sitting on the couch, watching a Braves game, of her own volition. Once again, I knew I had a cool wife.
Last night after reading this I told my wife that she needed to read your blog today. Her immediate response was “What . . . is it about how much Sunny likes to watch baseball or something?” I guess I may have mentioned that moment a few too many times over the past several years.It truly was like walking into the bizzaro world for me.
