Over the weekend, we started practicing for Tee Ball, which starts up in a couple of weeks. Looks like I’ll be adding “coach” to the list of hats I’ll wear.
And speaking of hats, Joshua loves his new “Saint Lou Cardinals” hat! Can you tell?

you know, one in particular comes to mind around a time when we did the Sound of Music, and you got pegged in a spot to remain unnamed on this family blog. boy, i felt for you that night.
I think that Joshua has hit EVERY ball that we own in the house. He carries his bat, ball, and glove around all day long. Today, we went to the library, the mall, and to get his hair cut. He wore his hat everywhere and of course he told everyone that he saw about his love for the Cardinals.
Hey, Coach. I don’t think the little guy wants to hear any stories about his old man as an “athlete of yesteryear”.

He reminds me of me when I was little, only I didn’t have a Cardinal cap, I had a Little Slugger hat. Coach Hawley, any coaching tips for a rookie coach? If it weren’t Tee-Ball, I might have to put in a call to you for some BP!
