It’s a high risk / high reward hire. He could be the next Meyer (but hopefully not such a jerk), or he could be the next Orgeron. Right now I’m liking it too. But I am concerned that if he has success at UT then he’ll go back to the west coast if the right job opened up (NFL or when Carrol retires at USC). I guess that is a risk with anybody though.
I agree that it’s risk / reward. But after going 5-7, I’ll take whatever I can get.
Agreed. It can’t really get any worse than a loss to Wyoming.
