…I thought I’d share some geek news that I’m jazzed up about (in bullet form):
- NBC has FINALLY announced a release date for Season 3 of Chuck. EW reports that Secret Agent Bartowski will be back on the small screen on January 10th. If you’ve never checked it out, you should. It’s a great, light-hearted spy drama / love story. I know…it doesn’t sound good, but it is. Trust me.
- It’s almost the end of the year, which means it’s time for my annual year end music list. This year, through the wonders of eMusic, I’ve been exposed to more good music than any year in recent memory. Be on the lookout for my Top 20 Albums of the Year posts in the weeks to come.
- Since we’re also coming up on the end of the decade, I’ll be writing about some of my favorite music of the 00’s in a series of posts. Music fans, I know you’ll be waiting with bated breath. Or baited breath or however you spell it.
- And here’s the best news of all: LOST has a return date of Feb. 2. That’s a Tuesday for those of you keeping score. With American Idol and LOST, Tuesday just became Must-See-TV Night at the Bybee household.
Have you noticed that Locke has his back turned? What is that all about? And how about all the old favorites that are represented? Pretty cool.

SO excited about Chuck & LOST! Hurray for TV 2010!
Did you hear that Chuck will now have 19 episodes instead of the 13 they originally shot? That’s a good sign.
looking forward to LOST returning one last time. the waiting is the hardest part . . .
started trying to narrow down my list for this year. I’ve got 8 of my top 10 pretty much set, but beyond that, I’ve got about 35 albums that I’m trying to pick the other 12 from. I got a whole lot of stuff I like this year, and it’s hard to eliminate any of it. Maybe I’ll just do a top 40 this year . . .
Wisdom is doing his top 100 of the decade. I just don’t have that kind of time. I’ve considered a top 10 of the decade, but I’ll see after (if) I get the other list done.
I’m prepping a Top 10 of the Decade list. It would take me too long to do a Top 100.
For my ’09 list, I have about 10 albums in the #5 – #15 range that keep vacillating for me.
Ooo! I hadn’t heard about the episode number increase. Very good news indeed!
Don’t know if I like LOST being on Tuesday. I had gotten used to it being on Wednesday.
We’ll see if Ellen detracts from LOST viewers I suppose.
I think American Idol comes on an hour earlier (at 7PM Central). That makes Tuesday night a power packed night.
We seem to cram most of our TV watching into the spring, with LOST and Chuck and American Idol all returning. I’m just glad I don’t watch 24 anymore.
