In my quest to be compelled by the love of Christ in 2008, I’ve started collecting quotes that reflect the magnitude of this love. Here’s one of the most haunting ones I’ve come across. I really hope this isn’t true. But I have a feeling it is.

This phrase has haunted me ever since I read it in Yancey’s “What’s So Amazing About Grace?”
I can’t remember when I first read it – it’s been a while ago, but I certainly needed the reminder. Darn that Yancey for putting such haunting quotes in front of his readers like that!
