So I “heard” that Michael Johns was eliminated from American Idol last night.
I say “heard” because I didn’t get to see it for myself.
Once again, nothing but the blue screen of doom.
This is getting annoying.
Anybody else have this problem? Is it just me? Is this some kind of cruel Dish Network conspiracy to shut down my AI blogging?

My other local channels come in just fine. Dish says they’re working on the problem. Weird.
Yeah Michael Johns went packing. I wasn’t happy. Kristy Lee wasn’t even in the bottom three. It was Carly, Syesha, and Michael. Everyone was stunned when they said “Carly and Syesha, you are safe”. Then Ryan said “Last year on AI Gives back week, we didn’t eliminate our bottom voter getter…but this year we are. Michael, your journey is done”. What a jerk.

Bri,Jon and Stacy have a DVD copy of Idol Gives Back. You guys are welcome to come over and watch it with us sometime this weekend. I heard they sang “Shout to the Lord” at the conclusion. Pretty cool.
jasson, i was told that this was a Fox 54 problem, not a Dish problem…something about something at thier station messed up and it killed the dish and direct tv signal (but not the cable signal, curiously). i think 54 re-aired american idol last night (it was on at 10:30 when i got home).treyp.s michael johns????? the only thing i can think is that he doesn’t have the coveted “hometown support” that push some idols through to the next round.
I’ve got Directv, and I had no problem at all.
I would love to watch it. We would have taken you up on watching it this weekend but I got sick Sat and we spent the afternoon at Madison Urgent care. Bummer! If you guys have not watched it yet we can catch it with you at your place or we can just borrow it. Whichever you would like.Thanks!Bri
